Saint John of God Community Services clg is a Section 38 Agency providing services funded by the Health Service Executive to children and adults with intellectual disability and children, adolescents and adults with mental ill health. As part of Saint John of God Hospitaller Group, it supports approximately 8,000 children and adults annually with over 3,000 staff and volunteers. Applications are invited for the following position:   Human Resources Manager - Grade VIII   The Human Resources Manager will:   Support the Director of Human Resources in achieving all SJOGCS strategic objectives. Develop a funded workforce plan in line with service needs and the strategic plan. Work closely with BI analyst and SMIS Officer to produce a standard set of reporting metrics. Chair a Workforce Planning and Organisation Development Committee. Take an active part in the CORE HR roll-out project. Work closely with the SMIS officer and take the lead in coordinating pay awards/national agreements. Hold overall accountability for ensuring SJOG CS fully complies with all employee legislative requirements and relevant HSE circulars. Complete an annual Training Needs Analysis and a learning and development strategy. Develop a talent management strategy for the organisation. Have responsibility for changes to Employee Handbook and Human Resources Website. Take Responsibility for overseeing gardai vetting and will be the Gardai Vetting Liaison person. Deputise for the Director of Human Resource   Skills & Requirements:   Degree in Human Resources desirable. Minimum 5 years' post graduate experience in similar role.  Ability to build and manage relationships at all levels of the business.  Experience working in the Public Sector. Experience with Human Resources metrics. In-depth knowledge of employment law.  Knowledge of HR systems, CORE HR desirable. Excellent communications and leadership skills.  Strong influencing and negotiating skills.  People oriented and results driven.
