A great opportunity to start your career in Baxter as a Technician in Production to join a small team based in our Sandyford operation in South Dublin. Our teams work shift in a 2 week rotation (07:30 - 4:00pm - week 2 09:30 - 6pm. Monday to Friday (No weekend or overnights) . This is subject to change.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Production Technician is accountable and responsible for the following activities:Manufacturing total parenteral nutrition (TPN) products in a clean-room environment using LAF (Laminar Air Flow) technology in accordance with procedures and regulationsEnvironmental monitoring of the cabinets & clean-room facilityAssisting in process and equipment validation in accordance with procedures and regulationsObservation and active promotion of Good Manufacturing PracticesLiaising with Customer Services and Warehousing on goods inwards and delivery related issuesFacility Monitoring (fridges, cabinets physical parameters, pressure differentials, incubators)Stocking and maintenance of changing rooms and other ancillary areasStock maintenance in Grade D preparation areasCleaning of isolators, integrity checking and pressure gauge checking;Transfer sanitization into cabinetsVolume and in-process checking;Inspection and labelling of compounded productsDispatch of compounded productCollaborating closely with the Quality department on quality-related issues including maintaining and development of GMP within the manufacturing areaWork in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practicesWork within their own competencyIdentify their training needsUndertake tasks as assigned by the line managerFollow health and safety regulationsObserve company rules and proceduresEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE/SKILLSExperience beneficial but not crucialA knowledge of GMP is desirableAn interest in learning new technologies and practicesSelf-motivated with good communication skillsThe ability to work as part of a teamAnalytical and meticulous approach to resolving problemsHighly attentive to detailAbility to work effectively and efficiently in a team environmentAbility to prioritize the daily work scheduleAdaptable to carrying out different tasks based on the daily scheduling of staffEstablish and maintain good working and interpersonal relationshipsWhat are some of our benefits of working at Baxter?
