Your new company Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor. They are currently very busy working on various building and civil projects throughout Connacht. They are now seeking to recruit a Civil Site Engineer in the west of Ireland. Applicants will need to be qualified and have at least 2 years post-graduate experience. You should have some experience of setting out, and you must have experience on various construction projects (civil / building). An immediate start is available in January. Duties 2 years or more experience working on civil engineering projects in Ireland or the UK. The ideal candidate will be competent in the use of instruments for the purposes of setting out and gathering information and/or managing works on site. Management of programme. Mobilising subcontractors to site. Site supervision of various trades and contractors The successful candidate should also be competent in using Microsoft Word, excel and outlook and be good with paperwork. Good Health and Safety management and plans Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate. Making sure the work performed and materials used are as specified in the contract Overseeing quality control measures on the site Liaising with subcontractors, clients and other professional staff Excellent salary and transport will be on offer to the successful candidate.
