JOB DESCRIPTION Job DescriptionCircle K is seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager forit’s DPOS (Drinks Prepared On-Site) category. Reporting to the Senior Category Manager of Merchandise and Beverage, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our coffee and hot and cold beverage offerings.This is full time permanent role, based in Circle K Support Office in Dublin 4 and a hybrid position, with three days spent in the office and two days working from home. Responsibilities: Create strategy and support delivery of same with clear planning on performance through key metrics - Category Sales, Margin, Units, Traffic and Market Share. Commercial ownership of the category by analysing sales data and market trends to make informed decisions regarding product assortment and pricing Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to optimise opportunity within this category. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and drive sales in the coffee and beverage category.Conduct product research to identify trends and opportunities within the on-site prepared drinks category.Work closely with marketing and operations teams to execute promotional campaigns and drive brand awareness as well as deliver best in market quality beverages.Continuous collaboration with the Circle K European Market Team, sharing and learning market leading approaches to winning on DPOS. Monitor competitor activity and industry developments to stay ahead of market trends and opportunities.Ensure compliance with product regulations, quality control standards, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines.Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field and 5+ years’ experience in a similar role. Strategic thinker with the ability to work in the detail to drive performance and build the category identity, brand, and market share. Proven experience in product research and development, supply chain management, and category management within the food and beverage industry.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Strong understanding of product regulations, quality control standards, and HSE guidelines.Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with category management software is a plus.
