<p>Mount Juliet Estate for Seasonal Groundsman / Greenskeeper to join our expanding Greenskeeping team.</p> <p><strong>Main Duties</strong></p> <ul> <li>Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough and semi rough.</li> <li>Operates some equipment used in course maintenance.</li> <li>Set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers, indicating OOB, Drop zones and hazards.</li> <li>Mowers: fairway, tee.</li> <li>Small machinery: string trimmer, fly mow, backpack blower.</li> <li>Involved in course detail tasks: weed and debris clean-up, poa eradication, etc.</li> <li>Maintains equipment fluid levels: Petrol/ diesel/ oil, etc. (throughout day)</li> <li>Reports equipment problems/failures to mechanic immediately and completes correct paper work.</li> <li>Performs daily equipment repair and maintenance as directed by Lead Mechanic.</li> <li>Ensures that all equipment used is washed properly, returned to designated location and charging if applicable.</li> <li>Performs bunker maintenance: operation of mechanical rake</li> <li>Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance.</li> <li>Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, raking leaves, and performing other lawn maintenance functions. Wash, clean, and re-fuel all equipment after use.</li> <li>Maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance.</li> <li>Maintain the appearance of planters, or other grounds features by cleaning, replacing or making repairs.</li> <li>Maintain the appearance and safety of sidewalks, driveways, cart paths, or parking lots by filling in cracks, holes, and making other repairs.</li> <li>Operate tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment and supplies.</li> <li>Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications</li> <li>Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards</li> <li>Perform other reasonable job duties as require</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other Job Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Regular and reliable attendance.</li> <li>Ability to work outdoor shifts</li> <li>Must be able to work weekends</li> <li>Must maintain regular and reliable attendance</li> <li>Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, which include: regularly standing; walking; climbing or balancing; and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
