Salary: €70-90k plus car and fuel card, plus bonus 50% Office, 40% On Site and flexible on hours Our client is a growing construction and engineering company, specialising in various sectors within the multi-disciplinary industry based in Dunshaughlin, Co.Meath. As a Quantity Surveyor with their company you will work closely with other Senior Quantity Surveyors to ensure that delivery of quality projects within budget across a range of sectors while developing and maintaining long term relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. RESPONSIBILITIES of this role include; - Liaising and supporting Contract Managers and Site Managers - Assisting with the preparation of project cost and evaluation, issuing tender enquiries and reporting on comparatives. - Procurement of subcontractors. - Evaluation of tenders from subcontractors. - Play a supporting role in the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. - Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered. Skills & Experience Degree in Quantity Surveying. Willingness to learn and positive attitude Strong numeracy and communication skills. Ability to meet targets and deadlines. Ability to work on own initiative Good IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Office. Ability to use Buildsoft, Cubit & Autocad.
