BABY ERASMUS (WORK IN SPAIN FOR 6 MONTHS) Early Years Practitioner/Educator

Job Description Do you want to gain experience working abroad in an international crèche? Baby Erasmus is an English-speaking crèche located in Badajoz (Spain). Our centre participates in European research projects related to early childhood education and early second language learning. Our 0-6 year olds are bilingual English-Spanish and the only working language they use in our crèche is English. We have a professional and international staff with experience teaching in different countries. We are looking for an early childhood educator willing to work abroad to cover the maternity leave of one of our teachers from January 8th until the end of June. We think this is a great opportunity for early childhood educators who want to work with bilingual students in an international environment and get to know other European educational curriculums. Roles and Responsibilities Ensuring the individual needs of children are identified and metAdhering to company policies, procedures and operational practices at all timesEnsuring positive working relationships are developed and maintained with children, staff and parents.Implement new methodologies resulting from European research projects (bilingual education, multiple intelligences theory...) with the support of the Baby Erasmus team.Playground supervisionArts & CraftsAssist in serving foodAssess the progression of the children The successful candidate must have Minimum Level 5 Qualification in Childcare from a recognised body.Must have a caring and loving approach to children.Some experience of working with children.Motivation for working abroadEnglish native speaker (not Spanish needed)Be able to implement our care and education requirementsGood communication skillsWorking well as part as a team Hours 38h. per week Salary 1.300 per month + health insurance Job Location Badajoz (Spain) Qualification Level Minimum QQI/Fetac Level 5
