Quality Manager Co Wexford Fulltime/Permanent Monday - Friday Days Salary €55k - €60k Vickerstock are working in partnership with our FMCG client who are specialists within the dairy industry, passionate about crafting premium products straight from the Irish countryside.As Food Safety and Quality Manager you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the food safety and quality programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and safety.Key dutiesDevelop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality assurance programmes in accordance with regulatory requirements.Conduct regular audits and inspections of facilities, processes, and procedures.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.Provide leadership and guidance to employees at all levels on food safety and quality matters.Stay informed about emerging food safety and quality trends, regulations, and best practices, and incorporate relevant changes into company policies and procedures.Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, customers, and third-party auditors.Oversee the implementation of food safety and quality management systems.Drive continuous improvement initiatives.Lead investigations into food safety and quality incidents. CriteriaIdeally degree educated in food science or related subject.3+ years' experience in food safety and quality managementIn-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standardsExperience developing and implementing HACCP, GMPs, and other food safety management systems.
