Maintenance Fitter Fabricator

FLI Precast Solutions Ltd. Aare recruiting a Mechanical Fitter Fabricator to join our busy and growing Maintenance team. This role is part of a wider team and reports to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager. This is a full-time permanent contract position.   Roles and Responsibilities: Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on various equipment. Welding, steel fabrication and mechanical fitting. Complete fabrication end to end. Provide mechanical maintenance support to the operation of the manufacturing process and utility systems. Carry out preventative and predictive maintenance. Carry out all planned and unplanned maintenance in a timely manner reducing impact on production an minimising breakdown recovery time. Installation of plant equipment and machinery on site and carrying out diagnostics and repair of malfunctioning equipment following drawings and procedures in a safe and efficient manner. Plan and participate, where necessary, in co-ordination of project works and planned shutdowns. Support Production team in achieving targets. Repairs to mechanical and control systems equipment including pneumatics and hydraulics. Co-operate and participate in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies. Follow all Health and Safety rules and regulations on site. Any other duties which may be reasonably assigned.   The Ideal Candidate: Trade qualification essential. Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role. Maintenance background an advantage. Experience in industrial fabrication an advantage. Experience in hydraulic and pneumatics an advantage. Ability to work on your own initiative. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken. Ability to work as part of a team.
