Job Description As a Senior Project Manager you will be expected to work with a Senior Project Manager, Associate or Director to successfully manage, coordinate and deliver projects. The role will cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase. The Project Manager will be expected to Work with other member of the project management team to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects.Act as the key day to day client interface ensuring that client objectives are met.Lead project management commissions taking overall responsibility for their successful deliveryLiaise directly with clients, oversee project management team members with their dutiesEnsure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on timePlanning, directing and supervising all operations included in moderately sized projects with moderate risk, complexity and financial impactHave a passion for first class service deliver, implementing best practice and continuous improvement and promoting AECOM externally.Build on our portfolio of major blue-chip clients and high-profile projectsSupporting the development of proposal for new workBe specifically responsible for delegated business development / marketing objectivesContribute to the overall operational running of the AECOM project management team Approach to all projects requires a high degree of flexibility and creativity, excellent presentational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with clients and consultants. The successful candidate shall be charged with the delivery of Project Management Services within our Client focused and highly motivated professional team. Qualifications Related degree or Masters – ideally Project Management / Construction / Engineering / Quantity SurveyingEnthusiastic self-starter looking to progress their careerAbility to work on own initiative and as part of a wider teamWell-developed interpersonal and communication skills are key.Strong experience of delivering technically complex projects.Proven track record of delivering technically complex construction projects from inception to completion.Experience of working in another comparable consultancy environment, or with a client organisation.Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skillsGood understanding of project Governance and procurement processes.Ability to develop long term relationships with all team members, and effectively balance people and processes. Preferred Qualifications Post Graduate Qualification – ideally Project Management / Construction / Engineering / Quantity Surveying relatedIn the process of pursuing Chartered Status with either of the following institutions; SCSI/RICS / CIOB / RIBA / EIAPM affiliation is a benefit
