Your new company Hays are representing a leading pharmaceutical company to recruit a Brand Manager for a 9-12 month FTC in Portadown. Your new role As Brand Manager you will be responsible for managing marketed brands and launching products, focusing on tactical plan development and implementation, as well as achieving budgeted sales and profit targets.You will be responsible for: Developing strong working relationships with all key personnel across Marketing, Medical, Commercial Operations, Finance, sales management and the field force. Working closely with your manager in Marketing, to develop robust tactical implementation plans in conjunction with relevant internal stakeholders, and work collaboratively in order to ensure effective delivery. Providing clear communication to the field teams and cross-functional colleagues on brand initiatives and programmes, ensuring adherence to the ABPI / HPRA Codes. Developing and maintaining effective KOL/MM and customer/ patient group relationships. Managing external agencies and suppliers, including creative, market access, and medical education vendors etc. to develop programmes and materials as required. Agree on promotional budget allocation with justification for activities to achieve brand objectives, and monitor actual spend versus budget. Continually assess ROI. Generate sales reports, and critically review implementation of tactical plans for assigned products against key performance indicators and take corrective action as required to achieve business objectives. Ensure issues management where necessary, to protect and build the reputation and success of the brands. Be recognised as the products champion through developing and continuously updating product, competitor, therapy area and market knowledge. Working alongside the Medical Manager, lead, develop and deliver initial and on-going product-related field-force training and campaign rollout, and maintain on-going communication with Sales Director regarding training needs and delivery. Other special projects and duties as requested or assigned. What you'll need to succeed Educated to degree or equivalent Pharmaceutical marketing experience Knowledge of NHS structure and market accessenvironment - understanding of the market access issues facing products Proactive self-starter and results driven with a can-do attitude High levels of motivation, desire and drive for results Ability to work at pace when required Ability to prioritise and manage own time Strong business focus, with proven implementation ability Commercial understanding and financial acumen Ability to influence and work in a collaborative way Full driving licence Desirable: ABPI qualified Experience of a small/ medium sized company - exposure to all areas of marketing Pharmaceutical sales experience Field force training experience Innovative Experience of project management Ability to interpret data and link to commercial opportunities What you'll get in return Salary of £40,000 per annum, hybrid working, excellent benefits including flexi time, excellent holidays, medical insurance and more.
