Relief Process Technician

Job Title: Relief Process Technician   Aim & Purpose of this position The Relief Process Technician will play a key role in supporting the team. This is a dual role that includes responsibilities for managing the supply of material to the extrusion line and the output of the finished product in line with customer specifications. Also when the Process Technician is on breaks or on leave the Relief Process Technician will provide a reliable database of our raw materials and how they perform on the line and in our unique blend. The role holder will also be hands on in production, documenting our process and the adjustments to be made to ensure our blend produces top quality PET resin each and every time. Work will be either day shifts or on a 24-hour/365-day shift rota system. You will work as a member of a busy team and carry out all tasks as instructed Responsibilities: Conduct incoming material inspections and testing. Document testing results and analyze data. Collaborate on process improvement projects. Operate forklift and maintain production floor standards. Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives. Assist in quality and environmental management. Promptly escalate quality issues. Requirements: Leaving Certificate or equivalent. Third-level education is desirable. Two years of production experience is beneficial. Two years of forklift driving experience is beneficial. Excellent Team Player Flexibility to work on and off shift as required MS Suite beneficial Must speak English
