Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is keen to hire a Device Technician to join their growing team in Sligo on a 6-month contract. The Device Technician will work as a team member in assembly areas in line with all safety, regulatory and organizational requirements on the Weekday Night Shift..Key Responsibilities (Full job description available on request):Preparing equipment, work areas and materials and ensuring/verifying readiness of manufacturing operations.Supplying materials to the operations and equipment in a timely and safe manner.Machine operation and Manual HandlingUpdating operating procedures and job instructions to reflect current best practices.Maintaining the overall cGMP of the production areas.Comply with all company EHS policies and procedures and demonstrate EHS best practices in all work activitiesReport any EHS incidents and/or Near Misses (unsafe acts and conditions) immediately to your manager.Ideal background:Previous experience of working in a regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.Irish Leaving Certificate or equivalent.Certificate or higher in a relevant Engineering discipline is desirable.Be computer literate.Adheres to and follows all procedures policies and guidelines ensuring compliance with cGMP and ISO/FDA regulations and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
