Our client, a global healthcare leader who specialises in life-changing technologies is currently recruiting for a Science Graduate in Cavan. This is a temporary 12-month contract and will involve working a day shift.ResponsibilitiesAs a Science Graduate, you will be responsible for:Co-ordinate assigned projects in the QA lab Department, maintaining close liaison with managers in other departments with the aim of improving production efficiencies by means of a team approachParticipate in developing project schedules, validation plans and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. You will be part of a team that is responsible for laboratory projects relating to continuous improvement, business continuity and complianceCompletion of necessary validation documentation and assist in the execution of validation activitiesActivities include installation, qualification and validation of laboratory equipment, software, and test methods within the Quality Assurance DepartmentCommunicate changes in project schedules to key stakeholders and projects teamEnsure all project validation activities are compliant with site and Division policyResponsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives in a highly automated process environment and ensuring all new equipment is validated as per QA proceduresRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in food science / Food Engineering or equivalent scientific discipline, or an equivalent qualificationExperience in a food manufacturing industryUnderstanding of importance of compliance and quality standardsUnderstanding of Validation & experience of preparing and completing validation documentationGood working knowledge of word and excel
