Your new company My client is an SME in the aviation space with a turnover of €14m. In the last 2 years, they have been taken over by a multinational organisation and are now in a growth phase. With that said, they are now looking for an experienced Finance Manager/Controller to manage their team. Your new role My client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager/Controller, to undertake all aspects of financial management, including regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Duties include:Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL , Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting. Research technical accounting issues for compliance. Support the month-end and year-end close process. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with regulatory reporting requirements and tax filings. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Operating as a business partner supporting team decisions and business growth Manage finance team. Additional manager duties as necessaryWhat you'll need to succeed Proven working experience as a Finance Manager/Financial Controller 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experienceQualified Accountant or Qualified by experienceExperience working in an SME would be preferable.What you'll get in return You will be rewarded with a salary of up to €80k plus bonus. Due to the nature of the role, the role will be fully office based in North Dublin.
