The Managing Director of Haven is a senior role on the EBS d.a.c. Senior Management Team. The successful individual will be accountable for driving and delivering the intermediary market Homes performance through our 180 strong intermediary network. The successful candidate must demonstrate qualities in leadership, stakeholder management, commercial acumen, strategy, operational risk, customer advocacy, data analysis and regulatory competence. They must be a self-starter and solution orientated, with energy and passion to drive the business and motivate both an internal team and our external broker network.

The person is an experienced senior leader, comfortable leading through ambiguity and change. They will contribute to the formulation of the Haven Intermediary strategy and customer journey design, lead a high performing team, and drive productivity to deliver a best in class customer experience.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:

Support the development and delivery of a strategic plan for Haven which enables our ambition to be a world-class customer centric organisation that delivers sustainable growth in our core mortgage business. Lead and develop the broker network to deliver market share ambition. Be responsible for the delivery of all targets within business area (including P&L outcomes, commercial and cost targets, risk management metrics, people management metrics and customer experience scores). Use data and analysis to understand performance and drive efficiency and productivity improvements Actively promote and build understanding of the AIB Homes offering across all segments and sectors by representing the Homes team at a senior level within AIB and in the external market Be passionate about Customer Experience seeking out ways for continuous improvement of the credit process to include faster response times, minimal reworks and a consistent & connected customer experience. This will deliver exceptional customer outcomes and business performance by delivering best in class NPS. Lead and manage the oversight and management of Mortgage applications to ensure consistent credit quality across teams and operation within SLAs. Ensures market leading conversion rates though active pipeline management from application all the way through to drawdown and delivering on our customers' dreams and ambitions. Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders across Homes and other business areas and contributes at senior management level across the bank on the Homes agenda and other organisation priorities. *As a Director of the Board of Haven Mortgages Limited, play a critical role in enabling the Board to fulfil its duties by taking primary responsibility for the Corporate Governance of the organisation; approving annual operating and capital budgets, monitoring financial performance, ensuring the integrity of financial information and that financial controls and risk management systems are robust and defensible.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE SOMETHING THAT YOU WANT TO BE PART OF?

YOU WILL NEED TO SHOW US THAT YOU HAVE:

Significant experience in the banking and industry (10+ years) - with multiple areas of experience including retail/commercial, risk management, Credit and Operational effectiveness & strategy execution. In depth knowledge of the mortgage market and industry with a deep understanding of price sensitivity, competitor activity and market trends. Significant experience in stakeholder engagement with an ability to engage tactically and strategically across the entire 180 strong Broker base to ensure they are educated about Haven offerings, willing to bring those offerings as top of mind to customers and are enabled administratively & technologically to do that very efficiently. In depth understanding and demonstrable experience of finance and markets, policies and regulation, products and promotions, customer relationships and service delivery. Strong financial acumen and a proven ability to deliver ongoing financial improvements and targets Experienced in leading, motivating and developing multi-disciplined teams in a front line environment with evidence of strong drive and motivation for this role
