Moulding Technician Tool Setter

Your new company Your new company design and manufacture actuator supplies for the automotive industry. Your new role They are currently recruiting an experienced Tool Setter in Moulding Injecting. As the tool setter, you will report to the moulding manager whilst working as part of the production team. Whilst working a 4-cycle shift pattern, duties will include:Setting and changing of tools in Injection Moulding machines Provide input on equipment installation, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting. Ensure smooth running of day-to-day mould shop operations. Calibration of equipmentReport machine faults and assist in follow-up resolutions. Adhere to all procedures and standards (IATF 16949, ISO 14001)What you’ll need to succeedRecognised qualification (industrial automation/mechanical/polymer) OR equivalent relevant experience. 2–3 years’ experience in tool settingMinimum 3 years commercial, high volume manufacturing experience Knowledge of special purpose equipment (injection moulding machines and polymers) Working knowledge of PLCs and pneumatic systems Must be available to work shifts-work. Work within a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility. An excellent team player who can also work on own initiative. Excellent time management whilst being able to multitask.
