Your new company Our client is an established Irish civil engineering contractor who is now seeking to recruit a Civils Project Manager for an immediate start. They are looking to recruit someone with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, and ideally you will have experience of civils projects such as watermains / pipelines / roads. Candidates with experience on large civil projects will also be considered. They require someone to start immediately, and you must be flexible to work across the west of the country. Transport and a generous salary will be offered to the right candidate. As Civils Project Manager, the role and requirements will include: Previous experience working as a Project Manager on civil projects. Understanding of Irish public contracts and documentation around same Experience in dealing with Clients, Consulting Engineers, Architects, Councils etc Experience in dealing with the financial side of the projects, variations etc Must be available to start in next few weeks. Supervision of staff and contractors on site Scheduling of work on a daily, weekly & monthly basis Ordering and management of resources including labour, materials, plant etc Ensuring quality of work Day to day safety management on site
