Our client, an Irish-owned food manufacturer are recruiting for a Sales Representative to join their team. This role will cover clients based in West & North West of Ireland. This is a permanent contract, Monday - Friday.The role requires a person with strong influencing skills selling the companies range of products. It requires a person with strong interpersonal and communications skills to maintain relationships with current customers and develop relationships with new customers. This person must be dependable from a customers’ perspective and allow them to feel their needs are fully catered for.ResponsibilitiesAs a Sales Representative you will be responsible for the following:Achieve agreed sales targets and customer call rates consistent with the run schedulePresent, promote and sell current range of products and introduce new lines to customers on an ongoing basisEnsure product range correctly merchandised with proper stock rotation on the shelfExpedite the resolution of customers problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction Maintain full stock control of vehicleReport customers needs, competitors activities and potential new products to the Sales ManagerAbility to optimise the strategic placement of FSDU’s in storeKey Skills:Be a self-starter in order to achieve sales targets and maintain strong customer relationshipsAlways strive to achieve timescales and meet deadlines in order to maximise salesTake the time to achieve results through a logical and systematic approachStrong influencing skills in order to achieve target salesAbility to work within the broad parameters of the companyAbility to keep abreast of best practices and promotional trendsQualification and experience:Minimum of 2 years experience in salesMinimum full clean B driving licencePrevious experience in use of handheld sales devices
