Overview of the Role The Production Director/ Executive Producer will be accountable for high value projects from start to finish with a key focus on the client relationship throughout the process. The sucessful candidate will need to be able to manage expectations, team performance, work standards and attention to detail; ensuring the work is always on brand, on strategy, on time and within budget.  You may lead multifunctional teams across the FUEL Group, deliver profitable revenues and operational excellence. In addition to managing the production elements  of your client projects, your daily tasks are likely to include developing team members, creative briefs, pricing, project planning and presenting work, along with overseeing the internal design, production preparation and show running phases of each project under your remit.  All of the above must be backed by event agency experience and a knowledge of the Irish based events market and this includes suppliers and vendors.  Must be based in Ireland - preferably Leinster.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Act as the main point of contact for Senior clients in your portfolio  Develops  new business responses for leading global brand and employee experience clients. Brings innovative and creative solutions to event development and realising creative and client ambitions on each project. Must have capabilities of producing what was pitched. Expert in production - Has a very comprehensive understanding of on the ground production and event builds  Ability to complete portfolio of H&S documents for a complex large scale event Extensive knowledge of suppliers within the industry & the various locations  Develop detailed event budgets for medium to large size events, ensuring profitability and accurate quoting standards  Takes ownership of very high end budgets and be able to adapt when issues arise  Responsible for leading, directing and mentoring Senior Event Producers, Event Producers Project Executives. Line manage a team of event producers & be able to coach through project phases (if applicable)  Oversees capacity of project  teams, monitors time, manages external partners, team welfare and budget. Set the standards by which all  team members deliver their work - from project planning, pricing, debrief notes and client communications; this may mean upskilling the team- especially those more juniors  Cultivate client relationships through regular meetings, calls, and social occasions Take ownership of updating and maintaining CRM system Consistently delivers on commercial  targets Collaborate with the group disciplines/teams, to ensure continual focus on creative standards of the work. Apply agility and momentum to the work methods to drive efficiency. Support an environment for the best team and work to flourish Ensure the accurate, timely and profitable implementation of all project plans. Have a fluid approach to projects and be able to adapt when a client changes briefs  Must be able to integrate themselves into the working practices that the company has in place and stick the processes involved  Working on-site and supporting the team where necessary on-site  Attributes &  Skills Above all else, knows event production inside out  A people person who is approachable and nurturing of client relationships Loves problem solving and researching new and innovative solutions on event production  Applies agility and pace to the work methods to drive efficiency. Has a strong knowledge in production & when suggesting an idea are aware of how to put this together from scratch and what 3rd parties are needed Has great leadership qualities and enjoys developing their team members  Highly creative and not afraid to bring fresh ideas to the table  Someone who strives to exceed all expectations  Passionate about new and dynamic event solutions and has a progressive view of the future of the industry & using the best suppliers  Loves working in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously High commercial acumen, with the ability to develop complex event budgets for medium to large size events  Strong attention to detail and doesn't sweats the little details  Highly motivated and brings a positive attitude to the workplace  Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets & Slides / Excel & PowerPoint  Who are we looking for? 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency setting (2 years in previous role) A progressive view on the role of experience at an organisational (for Employees) and Brand level Highly seasoned in live and online events with experience and a knowledge of market suppliers and vendors.  Highly adept in most of the following Experience Design, Event Creation and Design, Audience Planning, site mapping, event production, logistics. Have a proven track record of delivering standout events - Present portfolio and case studies as part of the interview process. (Min EUR250K budget) Confident and experienced presenter; ability to sell an idea and enjoys presenting to clients Provide impressive references/referees Must have drivers license and preferably have own car  Working hours The successful applicant will generally work normal office hours 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 5pm on Fridays. On occasion, they may need to work extra hours, including evenings and weekends.
