Finance and Administration Officer

Your new company You will be working for one of Ireland's leading Energy Companies, based in Dublin City. As the Station Finance and Administration Officer you will support the day to day operation of the station along with being the first point of contact for all financial and administrative demands within Dublin Bay Power Station. Your new role Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: Providing day to day support of accounting, administration and third-party contracts Managing and supporting the prompt payment of invoices and dealing with invoice queries to ensure timely supplier payments Preparation and posting of all month end journals and reconciliation of local control accounts Supporting Finance Managers with monthly and year-end financial forecasting Liaising with Finance Operations where required Managing third-party facilities contracts and key accounts with station vendors General office administrative duties Supporting health and wellbeing initiatives in the station Supporting inventory purchasing Timesheet recording and reporting Training course coordination Support and train, where required, station staff on finance and procurement processes Supporting other teams and projects as required by management What you'll need to succeed Essential2-3 years’ experience in similar roleStrong communications and interpersonal skillsPrior experience of working with SAPA good understanding of basic accounting and invoice processing.An ability to act independently, working to solve problems and implement solutionsHighly motivated – be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team to deliver high quality of work to tight deadlinesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExtensive knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)Good attention to detail DesirablePrior experience of working with SAP SRM & FMIS systemsQualificationsDesirableA qualification in finance, or similar work experience, would be advantageous.What you'll get in return You will work on a permanent basis with this company on a hybrid basis.
