Job DescriptionTechnical Sales Engineer - County SligoRef No: AM18148County Sligo, Republic of IrelandCompetitive salary Technical Sales Engineer - County Sligo.The responsibilities for this position will include the following:• Maintaining strong professional relationships with existing clients and meeting with new clients to expand sales territories. • Meeting with customers during visits both on-site and off-site (this role will require travelling to visit existing and potential customers from time to time) and attending trade shows.• Researching and identifying potential customers and organising sales meetings or calls.• Keeping up to date with new company products and industry trends.• Preparing quotations for customers and follow ups when required.• Maintaining database and logs as required.• Review Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA’s).• Delivering product demonstrations and providing a facility tour to existing and prospective customers and providing post-sales customer support.• Attending weekly project calls with project teams and customer.Interested applicants should have:• Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar discipline.• At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.• Excellent communication skills with superb networking abilities, research skills and a good eye for opportunities.• Strong customer service, analytical and interpersonal skills.• Excellent organisational, research and multi-tasking abilities.• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.• MS Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)• High level of teamwork and engagement, while at the same time being able to work on own initiative.• Excellent attention to detail, with strong numerical and problem-solving ability.
