The Opportunity An experienced Information Security Manager is currently being sought by Allianz Plc. This is a great opportunity to grow security expertise within an experienced team. Exposure to cutting edge security technologies at one of the world's largest financial institutions. At Allianz, our Information Security Team are required to have working knowledge of security principles & their application to Information Security Risk Management. This is an Information Security Governance role with no hands-on tasks in terms of implementation or operations. However, a technical background in some combination of networking, firewalls, security monitoring, software development, vulnerability management and/or third-party oversight is considered an advantage. Role Responsibilities: Leads Information Security risk management activities on Business & IT projects. Presents a solutions focus with appropriate risk treatment recommendations. Performing Third Party & Cloud risk assessments. Leads governance and oversight on the cybersecurity program as it relates to IT Security Operations. Supports user awareness training and education activities. Evidences compliance to Industry standards and regulatory requirements. Supports Security incident management and stakeholder coordination. Mentoring less senior team members. Evaluate to identify suitable IT / Security solutions in project architectures. Stays up to date on threat actor tradecraft, capabilities and activities and the broader threat landscape. Prepares management and stakeholder reporting. A minimum 6 years of Information Security experience. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Previous experience performing application, vendor and/or infrastructure risk assessments. Cloud security principals, architecture, and infrastructure security requirements. Azure an advantage. Understanding of business continuity planning relative to various cyber threat scenarios. Leading delivery of Security BAU support activities and security projects management. Knowledge and experience in security governance and data privacy principles. Strong technical background in some or all: networking, server, middleware, database & application security. Understanding of prevailing Information Security best practices and risk management frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, COBIT, ISO 27001/27002, ISO 27005, ISF, NIST, CIS, ASD & OWASP Background in systems administration of one or more of the following Linux, Windows server administration including Active Directory and/or iSeries AS/400 Familiarity of a broad range of security controls including firewalls, proxies, secure network design concepts, Vulnerability Management , Security Monitoring, Identity & Access Management, antivirus technologies etc. Exposure to security architecture concepts or penetration testing experience is a distinct plus. Qualifications: Minimum one or more of: CISSP, Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science Optimum one or more of: CISSP, MSc.
