Clinical Nurse Manager 1 - Memory unit

We are hiring Clinical Nurse Manager 1 in the Memory Unit , Permanent full-time, 39 Hours per week Responsibilities   Make sure that every intervention used to treat dementias non-cognitive symptoms is routinely reviewed and that it demonstrates how it informs practice development and learning. Accountable for achieving the goals of the residential homes dementia/cognitive impairment care. Make certain that any intervention used to treat behavioural and psychological signs of dementia is routinely examined, substantiated, and contributes to learning and practice growth. Lead by example in clinical practice and serve as a mentor and resource. Collaborating with other medical professionals, such as doctors, therapists, and support staff. Requirements Must be listed as a registered nurse on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Irelands (NMBI) current nursing registry. Must have at least five years of post-registration nursing experience, with at least half of that time spent working with dementia patients (within the last six years). To be eligible for a nurse management position, one must have nursing experience. Must hold a post-registration qualification in healthcare management, or be willing to get one within a set period and a post-graduate (Level 8/9) clinical qualification in gerontology or dementia.
