Process Scientist (Purification)

As a Process Scientist you would support the Process Sciences Department through small scale laboratory experiments, as well as analysis, troubleshooting, and validation of manufacturing bioprocesses. A typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:Perform purification investigations in the laboratory and create associated reports.Develop and write responses for technical sections of Regulatory documents.Conduct scaled-down production procedures to improve the efficiency and yield of candidate or existing bioprocesses.Develop and write protocols for small-scale process validation studies.Carry out small-scale purification process validation studies.Assist in the analysis of samples generated from lab scale studies.Tabulate results and write summary reports of process evaluation and validation studies.Present findings at group and possibly at interdepartmental meetings.Maintain lab supplies and equipment.Produce and maintain accurate records.Provide coaching and mentoring to junior members of the team.To be considered for this opportunity you should have a PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field with 0-2 years’ experience or MSc in Biotechnology or a related field with 3+ year’s relevant experience; may consider another discipline with added relevant experience. cGMP experience is desirable.Does this sound like you?
