The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the provision of systems to the eir evo organisation, and the support of IT users, remotely and on-site.Eir evo has an internal system administration and deskside support team for daily support operations. The IT Manager will lead this team to ensure that all of our internal systems are delivered in line with best practices. This role is a blend of hands-on support and service management, and may be suitable for a strong service desk resource looking to move to leading a team.Reporting to the CIO and working to implement the organisational IT Strategy, the IT Manager will have solid technical capability, a service-oriented attitude, excellent verbal and written skills and a high focus on the quality of work.Hybrid working – This role is 3 days/week on site in our HSQ office, Dublin.Responsibilities Lead the team that supports internal IT Operations for eir evo;Take ownership of IT issues and work with the team (and SMEs across the business as required), to resolve these issues;Develop processes and procedures to increase the efficiency of the operations teams;Maintain current documentation of the IT environment;Plan, manage and undertake projects to upgrade and implement systems to support the organisationResponsible for ensuring the backup plans, Business continuity and Disaster recovery plans are in place and tested in line with Policy Required A relevant educational background in IT;At least 5 years of relevant work experience in IT Support or Service;Technical background, including knowledge of Active Directory, M, Networking & Cloud services.Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing;Pro-active, service-oriented mindset and a strong focus on the quality of work;Excellent documentation skills;
