Sr. DevOps Engineer

Description We’re growing! We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team to help build our AWS-based infrastructure in order to scale and deploy our new SaaS solution. Role Overview - Build, implement and improve architecture and performance of large-scale distributed systems. - Write tools and scripts to automate maintenance and monitoring tasks and implement efficient, and robust features to build scalable infrastructure. - Design/build backend services/systems to ensure stability and high-performance and build CI/CD pipelines. - Work hand in hand with engineers to develop tools to automate tasks, resolve bottlenecks, and improve scalability/reliability to keep up with our growth. Qualifications - A strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, etc. with an ability to pick up new programming languages quickly. - Extensive experience developing infrastructure as code Automation using tools such as Terraform. - 3+ years of experience building a microservice infrastructure using at least one (or more) of the following: NodeJS, Python, Go, Perl. - In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure solutions (security, storage, networking, containers, databases). - Experience building and scaling large distributed systems and cloud computing with one (or more) of the following: AWS(preferred), Azure, GCP. - A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar.Why ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning lineup of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.
