Meet the Team For our new Manufacturing plant in Athenry, County Galway, we are looking for a Director Finance with full time on site presence . This role is a key member of the quickly growing and developing Global Operations Finance team with high visibility to our executive leadership! The group is responsible for providing actionable intelligence to executive leadership to drive the global growth and efficiency of the company along with leading the start-up of a greenfield site. This role will help develop, interpret, track, and implement financial concepts across Cost Accounting, General Accounting and FP&A. This includes performing technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Owning day- to-day management and oversight of our global controls framework and site manufacturing metrics. We are looking for a dedicated individual to help drive forward process improvements and analytics in our Global Operations Finance team. Candidate Profile: You are a detail-oriented leader with experience driving systems projects, owning cost accounting analytics and performing financial analysis. You will be the head of the financial support for Ireland manufacturing. You are a self motivated, exceptional leader who is eager to manage a greenfield project through completion. You will develop, implement and maintain cost accounting and FP&A systems and processes for our new site. You will build and mentor a team of cost accountants and Financial Analysts, You will prepare, review and approve journal entries; and develop financial statements/variance reports as requested. Your responsibilities: You will support the Ireland manufacturing site inclusive of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, ad hoc calculations and cost accounting support You will be Financial Lead for all Capital and Operational Expenses You will own budgeting and forecasting activities for the site in conjunction with Corporate HQ You will own performance metrics for manufacturing, logistics and accounting support You will establish, review and maintain standard costs including preparation of Actual vs Standard analysis, (inclusive of Procurement costs, project savings tracker, etc.) You will review and support completion of daily/weekly/monthly KPI trackers for all of Operations You will support your team in creating and supporting accurate labour and overhead rates including time studies and routing updates You will review audit and SEC schedules (flux analysis) along with contractual reviews for the site You will support Financial and SOX audits - - including inventory controls, financial accuracy of cost accounting and cap and roll processes for the site with support from Leadership Your Profile: You have a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 - 15 years of related experience and 5+ years of cost accounting experience. You have the ability multitask and are flexible in your approach to changing work priorities, while keeping the long-term goals in mind. You have experience in an Oracle based standard cost environment You have experience in a multinational (manufacturing and distribution) environment.
