Radiation Therapists required for Cancer Treatment service – Dublin, Ireland
Cpl Healthcare are recruiting for a Radiation Therapists for permanent positions in Dublin, Ireland on behalf of a leading public service cancer treatment provider, to work in a state of the art centre, providing radiation technology and treatments to patients in the Dublin area.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will responsible for the preparation, pre-treatment and treatment of patients with a cancer diagnosis or other benign conditions requiring radiotherapy, providing psychosocial support throughout the course of treatment.
Our client provides a full range of world class treatments including a comprehensive VMAT programme, Intra-cranial Stereotactic (SRS), Extra-cranial Stereotactic (SBRT), Total Body Irradiation (TBI) and the national paediatric radiation oncology service. There is also a comprehensive brachytherapy service provided including both prostate seeds and ocular brachytherapy.
Currently there are 14 linear accelerators within the Network and 2 CT scanners per centre as well as an MRI unit and brachytherapy and superficial units.
Our client also has a long history of involvement in clinical trials and works very closely with Clinical Trials Ireland.
Interested candidates will be required to hold a recognised qualification as a Radiation
Therapist and be eligible to apply for registration with CORU, the Health and Social Care Professional Council
One years’ post graduate experience is desirable, but not essential
