The new Head of Policy Enforcement will report to the Global Head of Policy Implementation and lead a team of Policy Enforcement Specialists and Team Leaders, to deliver effective, complete, and up-to-date guidance on our product policies to a scaled Operations organization. Our Policy Enforcement team is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and scaled Policy guidance to support the Moderation & QA teams responsible for the enforcement of our content policies. They are a critical link in our enforcement processes, working closely with cross-functional teams (Policy, Global Training, Moderation, etc) to ensure our policies are enforced in a high quality and consistent manner. Policy Enforcement also provides day-to-day support in ensuring an aligned understanding of our policies across teams, and identifies and channels feedback on opportunities for improvement. When we iterate our policies, Policy Enforcement works closely with our global teams to ensure this happens seamlessly and effectively, and that all relevant documentation is delivered in a format and language that enforcement teams can readily utilize. The Head of Policy Enforcement will provide full leadership to this team, ensuring it is able to do its work in a high quality, sustained, and reliable manner. This role may include limited exposure to harmful or distressing content, which includes but is not limited to: bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; or murder. Responsibilities- Organize and lead a global team responsible for providing scaled Policy support to content moderation and quality teams. In partnership with cross functional teams, lead analysis on policy related content moderation challenges and organize effective follow-through to address them;- Work with Policy and Safety Operations leadership and teams to support enforcement strategies across the content ecosystem, ensuring alignment of the intent of our content policies with how they are implemented at scale;- Lead a team of Policy Enforcement Specialists through Team Leads in regular and ad-hoc processes ensuring effective and up-to-date Policy understanding, documentation, and change management;- Coach & support Policy Enforcement Team Leads to develop an effective team, and enhance our global processes for providing scaled support to content moderation and Quality teams;- Analyse data first hand to validate recommendations made by your team in order to drive continuous policy enforcement process improvement across global in-house and outsourced content moderation efforts;- Lead and/or assist XFN or QA teams and Leadership with ad-hoc projects based on business needs or upon request;- Ensure that Policy teams are appropriately supported by the Policy Enforcement team to understand enforcement challenges, & make recommendations in line with ground experience; - 10+ years of progressively senior roles in Content Quality, TnS Operations, Policy Operations, or related industries;- Significant leadership experience (5+ years), including experience managing a large team including team members at multiple levels (team leads and ICs);- Track record of ensuring reliable delivery of high quality and sensitive work under time constraints;- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex data analysis to derive actionable business insights;- Strong proficiency in Data Analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, and in data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI;- Excellent communication skills, across verbal and written formats, including the ability to communicate analytical insights in an effective and intuitive way;- Detail oriented with the ability to create and maintain reports, procedures, proposals and presentations;- Strong project management and planning skills - experience in Six Sigma, Lean principles, or similar methodologies would be an advantage;- Experience working cross-functionally across a range of external and internal teams, including an international set of stakeholders distributed across time zones;- Ability to adapt rapidly to changing work environments, work priorities, and organisational needs as part of a global organization;- Your ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt, respond to day-to-day challenges of the role;- Your resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
