Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day: Financial Support for Initiatives: Provide financial backing for critical commercial and strategic projects within the organization.Data-Driven Approach: Utilize analytical methods to gain insights, challenge assumptions, and drive business performance.Business Strategy Recommendations: Assist Finance Business Partners in presenting analysis and future strategies, emphasizing best practices and process standardization.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and take action accordingly.Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate across finance teams, particularly with Strategic Finance and FP&A, to provide valuable insights and contribute to sound financial decision-making.What You’ll Bring Here at Primark, we want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular: You should ideally hold a degree and be a qualified accountant (such as ACA or ACCA) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience. Prior experience in the Big 4 accounting firms or industry settings is valuable. Specifically, exposure to transaction services and financial due diligence enhances your skill set and understanding of complex financial scenarios.Beyond traditional finance responsibilities, cultivate a high level of commercial awareness. Understand the broader business context, market dynamics, and strategic imperatives. Think beyond the numbers.Demonstrate initiative and a strong work ethic. Your ability to produce succinct, relevant information for different management levels is crucial.
