Primary Logistics Co-Ordinator (Dublin or Newcastle West Co. Limerick)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES        Assist in generating revenue through managing backhaul activities, including communicating with external vendors, collaborating with planning, operations, transport, contractors, and optimising network to achieve revenue targets        Responsible for day-to-day vendor management and performance monitoring through defined KPIs, including managing costs, and relationships        Manage Supply Chain administration activities including daily PO creation, cost trackers, freight cost application and intercompany transfers        Identify issues, participate in the development and implementation of supply chain solutions, support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies        Build strong and positive relationships with regional depot leads to plan for appropriate route for shipments, cost reduction and cross dock opportunities        Work as part of a team to proactively address specific supply chain issues as they arise and facilitate cross-functional supply chain project        Work with European consolidation centres and transport providers to manage freight cost, increase load fill, utilise vehicles, and improve customer service level        Prepare and manage reports, effectively present information, provide analytical support and take corrective action where appropriate        Co-ordinate with Supply Chain and Merchandising teams to deliver continuous improvement        Manage day-to-day customs clearance activities and ensure Sysco Ireland are compliant with all relevant trade laws        Establish strong working relationships with CSR partners to develop and control innovate waste management solutions        Provide day-to-day support to Primary Logistics Lead        Other duties as assigned   QUALIFICATIONS        Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management        Good PC skills and systems knowledge (MS Office essential, Dynamics AX preferred)        Goal orientated with strong numerical and analytical skills        Strong interpersonal and communication skills        Excellent team player and willing to interact with suppliers and carriers   EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE        Supply Chain environment experience        Driving License This role can be based in either Dublin or Newcastle West Co.
