POSITION SUMMARY The position is based in Dublin, Ireland with CORUM Butler Asset Management, the “ ManCo ” as part of CORUM Butler Group. The ManCo acts as UCITS and AIF Manager and it manages UCITS Irish domiciled fixed income funds with an AUM of ~1.2b., whose portfolio management is fully delegated to the Investment Manager, based in London. What are we looking for? We are looking for a self-motivated individual with 4-5 years’ experience in the funds industry, as Head of Compliance and DP for Regulatory Compliance in the UCITS and AIFM environment. The successful candidate will be working as Head of Compliance and Designated Person with responsibility for Regulatory Compliance (PCF12 and PCF39F respectively) and as MLRO. Main mission will be to ensure compliance with the applicable regulatory framework at all times, to build and keep up to date a robust Compliance and AML Programme Plan. The candidate will report to the Head of UCITS Funds Compliance, temporary based in Singapore and ultimately to the Global Head of Compliance based in Paris. A strong and close cooperation with the Investment Manager of the funds is required and with the headquarters in Paris also (working in a Group approach is necessary). YOUR MISSIONS In your role as Head of Compliance and DP with responsibility for Regulatory Compliance, main responsibilities are: Management and execution of the Funds Compliance Programme. Oversee the regulatory change process. Continue the development of a robust compliance culture. Develop a culture of support and mentorship while continuously integrating the Irish Compliance Team into the group compliance function. Advise on and monitor compliance with the regulations governing the Funds. Review, draft and implement relevant compliance policies and procedures. Be the liaison between the ManCo and CBI developing a pro-active relationship with the Regulator. Reporting and communicating to the Board of Directors on a regular basis. Manage the Compliance aspects of the oversight program of the Funds' delegates (e.g Fund Administrators and Investment Manager). In your role as MLRO, main responsibilities are: Apply and maintain an AML/CTF risk assessment framework in line with regulator expectations and Group policies and standards. Oversee the annual AML business risk assessment process to ensure the accurate assessment of these risks. Develop, review and enhance AML policies and standards to ensure continued compliance with Irish and international requirements. Deliver annual AML training to the Board of Directors and Staff. Full oversight on suspicious activity reporting, including the timely investigation and escalation of potential money laundering, terror financing, fraud or other criminal activities. Investigate and submit suspicious transactions reports to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and Revenue Commissioners. Act as the primary contact for all AML regulatory reviews and inspections conducted by regulators. YOUR PROFILE Bachelor’s degree in finance, Law, or any related field. At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in Compliance with a focus on UCITS and AIFM Management Companies. Comprehensive knowledge and experience in applicable AML laws and regulations. CBI approved for similar roles will be preferable. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Proactivity, curiosity and autonomy Fluent in English is a requirement. Any other European languages are a plus. WORKING CONDITIONS Office based in Dublin; WFH model up to 2 days a week; Trips to London and Paris may be required from time to time.
