We are looking for the best talent to continue to grow our organisation with challenging, dynamic roles and excellent career prospects.The role:The Fund Accountant is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of the accounting and administrative servicing requirements for various alternative fund products and structures for assigned funds. They are also responsible for ensuring premier client service standards and work according to best practice operations.Responsibilities:Accurate and timely production of the Net Asset Value per unitEnsure the accuracy and integrity of all aspects of each fund's portfolioReconcile trades, cash, positions, market valuesEnsure all expenses and income are accurately accounted forLiaise and assist with audit queries on annual financial accountsLiaise directly with clients, ensuring a consistently high standard of serviceAssist with training/mentoring of new staffProactively manage daily reconciling itemsReview of all processes with a view to streamlining and creating efficiencyRequirements:Degree in Business or Finance related discipline1-3 years’ experience as a Fund Accountant / Fund AdministrationKnowledge of financial productsHigh level of numeracy skillsGood organisational skills and attention to detailExcellent PC skills –knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelSelf-motivated and proactiveCommunicative with the ability to work well within a team#LI-SI1If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
