Our team creates bespoke designs for sensor technologies and solve complex problems for our customer.Be involved in exciting and original projectsAs a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of a team delivering the design and manufacture of advanced Ultrasound flowmeter solutions to meet our customers’ needs. Working on large-scale innovative projects you will play an integral role in shaping designs ensuring product compatibility for our customers.As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:Providing technical leadership to personnel / cross functional teamsSupporting the Project team with technical direction, methodologiesReviewing designs, specifications, customisations and customer requirements to ensure product compatibilityOverseeing preparation of drawings, technical documents and manufacturing records for orders to ensure compliance with customer expectations and internal documentation systemSupporting internal cross-functional teams to deliver design reports and proposals and to manage the execution of projectsBuilding relationships with internal and external cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure smooth, continuous execution of ordersReviewing and maintaining project plans and progress to ensure projects are successfully delivered on-time and in budgetPeer review of other engineers designs and projectsFuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university8+ years of pipe/pressure vessel design / Project EngineeringHave strong technical experience in developing custom solutionsHave demonstrated proficient computer skills and be familiar with MS Office, AutoCAD, Solidworks or similar 3D modelling packagesHave displayed the ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and manufacturing process planningHave excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team environmentHave demonstrated good analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to work on own initiativeHave demonstrated previous leadership skills within Project engineering environment.Have demonstrated significant knowledge of project management concepts and techniquesFacilitate and drive growth and process development within the global Engineering teamFamiliar with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) such as ERPWork in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
