Your new company : As Communications Advisor: Projects & Communities, you will join a leading Irish semi-state utility company who are responsible for the delivery and maintenance of utilities across Ireland. You will have full responsibility for all Strategic Stakeholder Communications, including Public Affairs, to ensure we have a focus on effective partnerships and are seen as a trusted advisor to all key water-related strategic stakeholders. Your new office is located in Dublin and will join their team on a permanent basis. Your new role : As Communications Advisor – Projects & Communities, you will support the Communications Lead to deliver the overall objectives of the Corporate Affairs Directorate by playing key roles within the team. The Corporate Affairs Directorate encompasses various roles, including brand strategy, market research, marketing, digital marketing, crisis management, and internal communications. You will be responsible for enhancing the client’s reputation, acting as a trusted advisor and practitioner. In this role, you will support the successful delivery of all stakeholder engagement at regional and local level, as well as media management and engagement at local level. You will support implementation of 360-degree communication, strategies, and campaigns to support the successful delivery of projects, as well as the crisis and incident communications, with particular focus on community impact and engagement. Additionally, you will represent the organisation at meetings, workshops and events related to the project, incident management or stakeholder engagement. You will review project related communications messages and responses and ensure consistency and secure sign off at the appropriate level following the approved governance process. Finally, you will maintain critical internal and external relationships to provide advice, guidance, and support. What you'll need to succeed : The ideal candidate should have demonstrable experience working with integrated communications teams in various disciplines. A relevant third level qualification or accreditation in a communications related discipline is required, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in water, utilities, or similar industries is highly desirable. You will be a highly motivated, adaptable individual, working to the highest professional standards, with a proven track record dealing with complex issues, proactively and in a timely fashion, along with the ability to clearly communicate information to others. A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.
