<p><strong>Staff Midwife Rolling Campaign</strong></p> <p></p> <p><strong>Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise</strong></p> <p></p> <p>This is a rolling campaign. The staff midwife will provide evidence based midwifery care in the maternity department, antenatal outpatient service and community service as the services develop providing choice to women requiring maternity services in the catchment area.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Eligibility Criteria</strong></p> <p><strong>1.</strong> <strong>Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc</strong></p> <p>Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition:</p> <p>(a) Are registered in the Midwives Division of the Register of Nurses &amp; Midwives maintained by Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be entitled to be so registered</p> <p><strong>And</strong></p> <p>(b) Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, (including a high standard of clinical and administrative capacity), for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Failure to complete all areas of the application form may result in you not being brought forward to the interview stage of the selection process.</strong></p>
