Job Title: Social Media Executive Department: Brand & Advertising Reports to: Head of Content, Blog & Social Location: Dundalk HQ, Hybrid  The Role: As our news Social Media Executive you will be working as an integral part of the Social Media Team,  creating written, visual and video content for the sports betting audience. You will come from a creative background with strong writing and video creation skills and have an excellent knowledge of sports and betting. This is a full-time role that includes some evening and weekend work to cover live sports and key sponsorships. Key Responsibilities: Creating engaging and entertaining original content, both written and visual. Creating live reactionary content alongside planned content to complement overall marketing campaigns and strategy. Creating concepts for BoyleSports’ social campaigns ensuring the company stands out from competitors. Managing BoyleSports’ social media channels including daily Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platform activity adhering to brand tone of voice. Managing and curating content from external contributors and brand ambassadors. Off-site live social coverage and video capture of BoyleSports sponsored events which may include travel. Requirements : Experience in managing social media accounts for an online business. Excellent written skills with an in-depth knowledge of sport. Candidate must have a genuine interest in all types of sport. Experience and high level of practical video equipment skills. Excellent people skills for directing and capturing video content. Excellent judge of humour and passion for entertainment. Creative thinker and prolific idea generator. Experience with photo editing software e.g. Canva/Photoshop Previous experience in a similar role. A marketing and publishing mindset, with the most important aspect being to think “customer first”. An excellent working knowledge of sports & gaming products. A passion for new technology tools and usage of those tools. Needs to be continually learning the latest platforms, technology tools and marketing solutions.
