We are hiring a Staff Nurse - Medical Assessment Unit  for a Private Hospital in Cork, Ireland. Key Responsibilities Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates programmes of care with reference to patients. Provides highest standard of care by using evidence-based practice. Co-ordinates the provision of seamless care for patients from admission to discharge by utilising efficient verbal and written communication practices with all members of the Multi -Disciplinary Team / Primary Care Services and Carers.   Ensures effective use of unit/department resources including stores, supplies and medicines. 6. Provides teaching, guidance, supervision and support for unqualified staff and students where required Requirements A minimum 2 years post qualification experience in Accident & Emergency / MAU is essential Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI Accident and Emergency course is desirable 33hours per week minimum Benefits Competitive salary   Maternity Leave   Weekend work allowance    Excellent Contributory Pension Scheme    Cycle to work scheme
