Join us and use your expertise to become part of our team in one of the most beautiful industries in the world and be responsible for Supporting the IT infrastructure in the data centers (e.g. racks, network, server systems and storage hardware) Installation and initial configuration of all systems in the racks Cabling of active and passive network components in day-to-day business Monitoring and controlling the smooth operation of the data center infrastructure Administrative activities, such as the creation and maintenance of internal documentation, inventory management and server monitoring WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU Successfully completed training in the IT sector (e.g. network technician, IT systems electronics technician, IT specialist) with relevant professional experience Many years of professional experience within a network, data center infrastructure or as a service technician Practical experience in the operation and further development of a data center infrastructure as well as in the support of data centers Ideally additional professional experience with the support of network services and technologies such as LAN/WAN, firewall, IPSec/SSL-VPN or web & e-mail appliances or the willingness to acquire knowledge in these topics Experience in the area of server hardware systems from HP, Dell, Cisco Good knowledge of server technologies, structured cabling, air conditioning technology and cooling concepts Knowledge of the German language would be advantageous A car driver's license and the willingness to drive to other locations and carry out hardware transports Nobody is perfect!
