Full job description Based in Co. Cavan, Ireland, EireVolt Energy specialises in simplifying the adoption of solar energy solutions for homes, businesses and farms. Our philosophy is to make solar energy accessible and practical for all, starting from the moment customers connect with us. Due to recent growth and opportunities in the renewables sector, we a seeking to fill two roles for qualified electricians to join us and assist our Operations Team. The roles advertised are for an Electrical lead who is ideally QQI Certified in Installations of Micro-Generators, and have previous experience installing domestic and commercial PV systems. This applicant will form part of our electrical installation team, drive and develop installation processes, and manage their QA procedures. This role may develop further for the right applicant. Note : Roles will not require domestic Solar PV panel roof installations as this will be carried out by our panel installation team. The successful applicant will be based out of our Cavan office, and duties will include but are not limited to the following · Installation of solar PV and EV charging equipment such as inverters, shunt switches, battery storage units, isolators, wiring both AC / DC, EV charging units, associated cabling, containment etc. · Complete all necessary site paperwork and take multiple images for each installation. · Liaise with our operations manager and office admin manager regarding all daily tasks undertaken. · Communicating with our customers and ensuring customer satisfaction. · Delivering a quality installation in line with our quality templates and goals. Key Skills · Previous experience in a similar role is desired, but not a requirement as full training will be given to the successful applicants. · An Irish electrical qualification. · Valid Safe Pass. · Manual handing. · Have a strong focus on general safety and electrical safety, LOTO etc · Previous employer references. · Full driving licence. · Be familiar and competent with smart devices, apps and wifi integration. · Have completed a Testing and Verification course and hold a QC number. (Desirable but not essential.) · Have completed and achieved Level 6 QQI Certification for Installation of Micro-Generators. (Desirable but not essential.)
