Ensure that all food items are prepared in a timely manner and in sufficient quantities to meet customer demands. Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain consistency and meet customer satisfaction. Supervise and mentor junior members of the kitchen team, providing guidance and support as needed. Conduct training sessions to develop the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety procedures. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment and report any shortages or issues to the Sous Chef. Interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the menu or dietary requirements. Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards to exceed guest expectations. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure compliance with local health regulations. Ensure excellent food hygiene practice is observed in the entire food chain from storage through to preparation and service. Adhere to HACCP compliance standards in the kitchen and all Food & Beverage outlets. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all aspects of job performance, representing the hotel's brand values at all times. Minimize wastage and adhere to portion planning and control to operate in a cost-effective manner. Support team members to consistently exceed guest expectations by delivering quality food.   The successful candidates will meet the following criteria: Working knowledge of Food Hygiene/HACCP Fluency in both written and spoken English. Qualified or part qualified as a chef. Previous experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and menu execution. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations. Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.   Why work with us?
