What’s the OpportunityDistilled is looking for a Programmatic and Ad Operations Manager who can drive Distilled’s efforts to maximise advertising revenues and take our advertising function to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the way people buy and sell goods and services on three of Ireland's largest online marketplaces, Daft, DoneDeal, and Adverts.ieAs a Programmatic and Ad Operations Manager you will own the advertising function at Distilled. Being responsible for the programmatic and direct media revenue lines, you will identify and execute monetisation opportunities to grow revenues across DoneDeal.ie, Daft.ie and Adverts.ie and lead our Ad Ops team.Working closely with the management team, you will coordinate with other key business units within the company such as Strategy, Sales, Product, Tech, Analytics and Marketing to ensure we provide innovative advertising solutions to fulfill our customer needs.The candidate should have a strong understanding of publisher monetisation strategies and programmatic advertising, and be comfortable working closely with different internal teams.What will I be doingOwn the entire media revenue line across all of Distilled’s sites, Daft, DoneDeal, and Adverts.ie (Programmatic and Direct)Identify monetisation opportunities within our Google Programmatic account, via our Direct Sales team of +15 people, and via 3rd party channels such as Meta or other remarketing tools.Define our programmatic and media advertising roadmap in conjunction with the Product and Strategy teamDevelop new advertising products that will be sold directly via our sales teamLead, mentor, and inspire a team of Ad Ops professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvementSet clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members, helping them grow in their roles and achieve their career objectivesRecruit, hire, and onboard new Ad Ops team members, ensuring a diverse and skilled team to drive advertising successOptimise ad inventory availability and yield in order to maximise revenue growthDefine optimal floor pricing strategies to maximise fill rate and CPWork effectively across multiple teams and divisions (i.e. product development and sales) to create and implement integrated advertising solutionsCreate monthly reports for the business on yield tracking, programmatic revenue tracking, and ongoing SSP delivery. Enable more realtime reporting through dashboards and alerting systemsPrepare, analyse and develop relevant insights backed by dataTroubleshoot ad units and monetisation issues as they ariseWhat skills and experience do I needRelevant work experience in yield optimisation and ad operations.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must possess very strong analytical, strategic problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent planning, organisational, and time management skillsProactive in identifying issues and creating long term solutionsThorough knowledge of online advertising industry and marketplace trendsSolid understanding of ad-technology, such as Google Ad ManagerWell versed with Google Ad ManageStrong attention to detailStrong internal drive and eagerness to take on more responsibility within a fast growing organisationStrong experience working with spreadsheets, large data sets and complex analysisDemonstrated ability to collaborate with Direct Sales teamsAs a medium-sized, dynamic company, the appetite and ability to roll up your sleeves and dig into and solve varied challenges are crucialWhat’s it like to work hereYou will have the opportunity to work with one of Ireland's fastest-growing Internet companies.
