We’re looking for Mechanical Engineers with Capital Maintenance experience to join our teams in Cork and Dublin With an exciting and growing project portfolio, there is no better time to join our Ireland Water team. What will you do? As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll have the chance to work as part of our multi-disciplinary design teams to develop solutions for treatment and network infrastructure for our Water company clients. This role would suit somebody with Mechanical or Instrumentation experiences and is a mix of technical and working alongside client’s systems to pull together various information and reports from the different client’s systems and sub-programs. You’ll likely have specific experience on pump selection and maintenance, instrumentation, UV systems, pressure vessel systems and chemical storage systems. Review current process in place for Capital Maintenance spending on pumps. Liaise with stakeholders, review and evaluate tender documentation from Contractors on pump selection. Review how pumping and the supply chain can deliver targets in the drive to Net Zero. Support Asset Intelligence and Asset Operations with implementing updates to the different assets in Client’s systems. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure the creation of reports to display outputs of different assets. Water processes key maintenance and failure modes identification . What can we offer? A degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering Technical knowledge of pump requirements on pump selection. Experience working in the water industry.
