Joinour team now at Siemens Healthineers as a Commodity Manager where you will be part of a global DX Commodity team, and part of thebroader Siemens Healthineers Global Procurement function.This is a rolewell suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in theircareer. As a commodity manager, you should have an entrepreneurial mindset based on commercial knowledge and familiarity of commodity markets. You will be responsible for a defined direct material field, including the pooling and procurement of commodities, developing and implementing commodity strategies, interacting with suppliers and cross-functions to ensure the resilience & sustainability of our supply chain. You will drive the advancement of the supplier base to support the growing demand at our DX instrument manufacturing locations for Clinical Laboratory Solutions. You are expected to perform end to end supplier risk management to ensure delivery, quality and cost targets are achieved today and, in the future. You will act as focal point between sourcing, manufacturing operations, quality & engineering and lead cross-functional projects. On an ongoing basis, you will interact with our Siemens Healthineers commodity management and align on demand pooling, price negotiations and global commodity strategy.This position may suit you best if would like to do develop your careerwith Healthineers and the description below sounds like you! You have a proven ability to drive assignments to full implementation in collaboration with cross-functional partners (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality) You are experienced in supplier capacity, process, and capability assessment and able to identify improvement potentials. You are a good communicator and team player with the drive to implement changes.
