Your new role As the Senior Offshore Engineer, you will lead the technical delivery of structures related to offshore wind projects. This includes both fixed-bottom foundations for wind turbines and offshore substations. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle, from development to operations, within a multidisciplinary engineering team. What you'll need to succeed You are an experienced engineering specialist with a strong background in fixed foundation design, certification and management. You possess in-depth knowledge of offshore wind foundation engineering, risks, challenges, and solutions, particularly for fixed-bottom designs. You provide strategic leadership and direction to project teams, ensuring optimal foundation solutions for their projects. You have experience establishing contracts for foundation packages, including tendering, evaluation, and contract negotiation. Flexibility to travel in Ireland on site visits.
