Senior Financial Accountant

Your new company My client is a Commercial Property PLC with a portfolio of development land investment property in both Ireland and the UK. Their head office is centrally located in the city centre with access to public transport. Your new role Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will be focused on preparing the group annual reporting, as well as, when required, helping out with all aspects of the day-to-day accounts. Duties include:Responsible for all aspects of preparation of the annual reportPreparation of consolidation workings including taxLiaison with audit teamPreparation of all subsidiary statutory accountsLiaison with company secretarial team as necessaryInvolvement in budget preparation and planningAd hoc projects as they ariseWhat you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified accountant with a Big Four background.You will have 2–5 years PQE in industry in a similar role or in Big FourYou will have strong technical knowledge and experience preparing financial statements and group reports, ideally for a PLC.Have the ability to work autonomously and run with a task yourself.What you'll get in return Due to internal promotion, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified, ambitious individual to join the company and work alongside a team of experienced professionals, to be involved in the financial reporting of the group and to gain knowledge and experience of the commercial property sector.
