Investment Team Business SupportDublin This role is deemed as a Controlled Function role under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks. As a Barclays Investment Team Business Support, you will actively work with Head of Investments to further enhance the Advisory and broader investment proposition, through development of the distribution /sale investment process. You will be responsible for providing high quality Investment support within Wealth Management and Private Banking and contributing to the overall investment process. What will you be doing? • You will actively work with Head of Investments to further enhance the Advisory and broader investment proposition, through development of the distribution/ sale investment process• Supporting various stakeholders across Barclays to deliver product and platform improvements across various jurisdictions including new product design and delivery• Being an integral part of the bank’s efforts around ongoing regulatory change and business transformation as we grow the Private Bank in Europe• Assisting in all areas of business development and team performance monitoring and defining the reporting required to track performance/ achievement against these KPIs• Being responsible for coordination of ad hoc and periodic investment team meetings and team offisite• Assisting with the Discretionary, Advisory and Execution teams with support for special projects• Building and maintaining credibility with the senior management team and stakeholders across PB Europe and the Private Bank What we’re looking for: • Experience in building long-term, trusted relationships with a good understanding of investments private or wealth management • A track record of developing and managing investment projects and initiatives across a range of complex jurisdictions, with varied investment requirements and complexity• Experience working with bankers, traders and European Private Bank Skills that will help you in the role: • Demonstrable experience with investment and business initiatives, direct interactions with business management and a broad range of cross functional colleagues• CFA/working towards CFA qualification is an advantage and European language skills are an advantage (French, Italian, Spanish) Where will you be working?
