<p>The staff nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to the highest professional and ethical standards within the model of nursing care practiced in the Infectious Diseases (ID) outpatient service which incorporates clinic, day patients and complex review clinics. They will ensure that care is delivered in accordance with the vision, mission, philosophy, core values, evidenced based practice, and standards of the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital. They will act as a clinical resource, review requirements for patients, partners and family education regarding disease process and treatment compliance.
