This role is centred around the receipt, delivery, settlement, and safekeeping of securities for our clients.A snapshot of your key responsibilities:· Maintain portfolio security trackers across all mandates, including updating the status of title deeds and maintaining all required reporting· Maintain security status across all loans through the system of record· Progress security discharges and release of security in line with agreed process and timelines· Monitor and manage the Settlements process across the business· Crafting and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal colleagues and relevant external third parties· Participate and engage in all project requirements, ensuring project alignment with current operational processes· Work within agreed metrics, for all operational and customer requirements, including meeting agreed targets and service level agreements· Consistently records incidents immediately on detection of errors and engages with Risk Partner / Risk Owner to resolve where required· Displays awareness of the MCFID risk and control environment, engaging proactively with colleagues and management to identify and mitigate risk· Ensure all company processes and procedures are carried out within appropriate timeframes· Become an SME on the customer journey and positively contribute to the team’s customer outcomes via actions, analysis, and remediationRequirements:· Relevant APA qualification required· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Securities management which includes but is not limited to knowledge of the ATR, Final Receipt and Security release processes· Working knowledge relating to the assignment and release of life policies is desirable· Previous loan servicing experience preferable· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal· Attention to detail and accuracy· Maintaining good interpersonal relationships· Positive engagement with change initiatives· Consistently demonstrates that “the customer is at the heart of everything we do” by ensuring that customer impact is considered in the course of all BAU activity· Ability to react and deal with change in a fast-moving environment· Proven abilities working with word, excel, power point tools to support outputs for approval/review· Working as part of a team to achieve common goal.
